About the Building
Tri-bowl is a multi-cultural space located in Songdo International City, Incheon. The name Tri-bowl is a combination of the word “triple,” meaning three, and “bowl.” The shape of Tri-bowl represents three bowls and symbolizes the harmony of sky, sea, and land in Incheon’s identity, as well as the Incheon Free Economic Zone of Songdo,
Cheongna, and Yeongjongdo. Tri-bowl operates various cultural programs such as performances, exhibitions, and education and is operated by the Incheon Foundation for Arts and Culture. Tri-bowl is also famous for being the world’s first building to implement the ‘Inverse Shell’ construction method.
