“Beauty of New Era” celebrates the algorithmic aesthetics that underpin the modern age. Rooted in algorithms that humans create, understand, and coexist with, the work reflects the beauty of a new era, its potential for sustainability, and a longing for a future intertwined with nature.
Technology emerges as a central theme in the work. The technology underlying algorithms serves as a tool for making human life more functional and aesthetically rich. Yet the importance of technological progress unfolding in harmony with nature reinforces the work’s central message. Integrating technology with nature’s own systems does more than facilitate human life; it also signals the possibility of a sustainable future.
Each individual can explore their relationship with technology and nature through their unique existence, following equally unique paths. As a creative expression of human–computer collaboration, the work suggests that technology can provide tools to enrich both personal and collective experiences in this new era. By supporting distinct paths of development for unique individuals, technology opens possibilities for hyper-personalization. Harmony and continuity emerge through these individual paths.
The work embodies a vision in which algorithmic systems operate in harmony with nature, guided by the aspiration to leave a better world for future generations. Built upon algorithms, the work explores how the systems humans create, interpret, and coexist with form the foundations of a new era’s aesthetic language.
As we inhabit the systems shaped by this new era, the work reminds us that nature also generates systems of its own. It suggests that the harmony between these natural systems and those introduced through technology holds a glimmer of possibility for a better future.
In an age when we increasingly discover and understand the beauty of life and of being human, the work points toward a sustainable vision of modernity made possible through our relationship with technology. It presents technology and nature as interconnected, exploring this relationship through an artwork created in human–computer collaboration—for the new era, within the new era.
