ECEM DİLAN KÖSE — B. 1990, ANKARA — LIVES IN ISTANBUL

Ecem Dilan Köse is an artist based in Istanbul. Working through generative code, constrained artificial intelligence, sculpture and spatial sound, she treats strata — geological, cultural and computational — as the records that living systems leave behind.

Trained in architecture, she reads these layers at sites of deep time and builds systems that write new ones, asking how we come to recognise life and interiority in forms unlike our own.

Her installations move between site and system: field recordings, site research and selected source material feed generative systems she writes herself, whose outputs return to physical space as sculpture, architectural projection and immersive sound environments scaled to the body.
