Digital scenography for Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana, staged as a choreographic scenic cantata in one act by the Istanbul State Opera and Ballet at Atatürk Cultural Centre, 27 and 29 April 2024.
The moving image works with the choreography rather than behind it: light and image shift with the cantata’s turns of fortune, so the stage reads as weather over the dancers.
