Stage visuals and video mapping for Sadakat (Loyalty), the Istanbul State Theatre’s adaptation of İnci Aral’s novel, part of the Romandan Sahneye (From Novel to Stage) project.
Azra, who cannot remember the terrible ending, is given a notebook by her lawyer to write down what she recalls — a journey from the first day of her relationship to its end, through love, happiness, pain and ruin. As she returns to her memories, she questions loyalty and betrayal, right and wrong, and the emotional collapse of devotion turning into captivity.
The projected imagery follows this inner landscape: a single tree that shifts between seasons and states — bare and frozen, rooted and green, dissolving into cellular networks and faces — mirroring the transformation of memory on stage.
